IT Systems and Infrastructure Sr Associate – Promotion to Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems and Infrastructure Professional, who will quickly work into leading and overseeing the company’s technology operations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance across all systems and networks. This role involves collaborating with various departments to provide robust IT support, managing everything from software licensing to network infrastructure. Additionally, the manager will work closely with the accounting team to develop and maintain an annual budget and capital expenditure plan for IT-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:

This hands-on role includes the following responsibilities:

• Conduct regular assessments of network and data security protocols.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and software and oversee their implementation.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices tailored to the organization’s needs.
• Design and facilitate training sessions and compliance workshops for staff.
• Perform periodic audits of IT systems to ensure efficiency and security.
• Prepare and share detailed operational reports with senior leadership.
• Plan and execute timelines for major IT projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and system maintenance.
• Manage and monitor the allocation of the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with and guide external IT consultants or service providers.
• Provide comprehensive support for all desktop and network systems.
• Maintain accurate records of user accounts, software licenses, and related IT assets.
• Travel occasionally to support IT needs across company facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has a proven history of success in progressively responsible IT roles, with expertise in:

• Technical systems management and infrastructure optimization.
• Data management and analysis for strategic decision-making.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting across a range of IT environments.
• Strategic IT planning and implementation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
• Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Three or more years of experience in IT roles.
• Relevant certifications in specific systems or products (a plus).
